The Universal PATH

The Universal Path -
the religion of the initiates

Everywhere in the universe a hidden evolution takes place in the various planes of creation. Modern man is only a day-fly in comparison with the existence of the universe, but he overseees how unimportant he actually is.
The majority of mankind goes through a process of the development of the mind which is one of the main differences to the animal-kingdom which has no mental EGO. But mankind is by far not enough developed to see the soul and the spirit consciously.
To go the steps of the spiritual path means to make conscious and quicker evolution with many states of change. But who knows how things should be finally, who knows the precise goal, who knows the dangers of the path and who knows whether we can be successful ?

Enlightenment and mastership have already been reached by many people in the past who sometimes left back their experiences. So we will at first have a deep look at the secret techniques of the initiates of the past. These techniques have been written down in a special symbolic language, and they were often only transferred verbally or were given in a dusky symbolic visual language, very often hidden in the well known scriptures of the world-religions.
For example we find in "Dhammapada 294" sentences like "a brahmin first lives perfect after he has slain father and mother(with the inner meaning that he has slain in himself selfishness and thirst for life - ie. preservation of the race and self-preservation).

Therefore is not my intention to warm up the old religions here. These inner teachings were completely unknown to the outer religions. But there are so many known techniqes of meditation and circulation and vibration of energy (and other methods) which will be more understandable through the Universal Path.
You will not find any true master in the world who will not agree that the Universal Path is the process behind all spiritual developments.

The cycles of human evolution

All spiritual teachings have the UNIVERSAL PATH as their hidden basis, which is the universal key. At the moment only few spiritual scools teach these steps to the gate of the first cosmic divine initiation.

These steps of development and the whole process were carefully kept secret by the initiates and masters of the ancient times.

Human evolution begins with three involutionary steps :

1. the very primitive nature-man
This lowest step is the unconscious adaption of that kind of man who is mainly an animal without real intelligence.
Primitive wild people belong into this categorie and many simple farmers who do primitive work on the fields und have not received a modern education.
The man of this stadium is completely directed by his instincts and not much better at than an animal. 2. The man begins to develop his feelings and the natural mind.
A big part of mankind stands first at the treshold to the next step.
This next step of unconscious adaption is that kind of man who begins to show a small glimmer of understanding by his own thoughts. This still happens partly instinctiv und is based on growing selfishness.
A simple and primitive selfcentered consciousness rather than an instinctiv group-consciousness can be found here.
We find this growing self-feeling (for example) in primitive people in the slums of towns(with their lack of education and culture) and also in the small criminal man who has enough instincts to keep himself alive by his small criminal deeds und his manual skilfulness.
This is the stadium of animal-slyness. 3. The mass-man of our modern world with his mind and mental "ego".
On these steps follows the conscious and completely egoistic adaption of the individual person to the world where he or she lives.
In these cases man is conscious of his motivations. He plays it through and tries to get the best out of it, and he tries to live in harmonie with the world .
This is certainly a good motivation but in principle this man is so much governed by his wishes for pleasure and comfort that he plays the good fellow to be able to exist and to live together with everybody.

Then follow several evolutionary cycles to the gate of the first COSMIC INITIATION.
These 22 steps of evolution can be divided into 4 chapters :
Beginner (1-9),
the Trial-Path (10-14)
the Path (15-19) and the steps of mastership (20-22).
Only the System of Raja-Yoga and the initiated Tarot teach a system of these steps.

In the spiritual religions we can find various metods of the hidden presentation of the 22 steps. The various figuress and animals symbolize higher human bodies (ie. Jiva, the individual self) or even certain forces of the process of transmutation and transfiguration. The names have their deep secret meaning, even from the quabbalistic standpoint.

These 22 steps can be divided into cycles of the seven rays or into cycles of the four higher "elements" or "Universal Principles" (the four beeings at the throne of the lord) , who have positive and negative aspects because of the polarity of creation.
Many atheistic seekers for spirituality beleive in a "highest force", but this force is at the same time highest consciousness und must therefore be a universal conscious god - wider than the universe, which is unpersonal and even ununderstandable for masters of the spiritual Paramatma !

EGYT (Thoth)

The 22 Steps of initiation were well known to the egyptian priests and later to the initiated priests in Israel. The Cheops-Pyramid was built as a temple for initiation and as a symbol of the various pathes.

KABBALAH

The "Kabbalistic tree" with the ten Sephiroths, and above them the "En Soph aur"(limitless light) and the EN SOPH, are the basics of traditional Kabbalah, together with the book "Sepher Jezirah" , the quabbalistic book of creation, which describes 10 numbers and 22 letters in the origin of creation.
The 22 arcans of the TAROT refer to the 22 hebrew letters and describe the process of personal development with help of symbolic pictures and the 22 hebrew letters.
It has been guessed that the Tarotcards have their origin in ancient Egyt and brought to Europe by the gypsys, but it has be proven that the genetic origin of the gypsys is in India.

The 22 steps have not been chosen as a system but they have their basis in the 22 hebrew letters as described in the "SEPHER JEZIRAH ", which gives a symbolic description of a vision with ONE unpersonal god (Jah Jahve Sebaoth) as an allmighty, compassionate and graceful creator , who is behind space and time and therefore is everywhere and only ONE.

In the Kabbalah we read : "The appearance of the 10 sephiroth is like an endless lightning". This lightning dominates the process from step 16 (see Tarotcard 16 !) on. It is a god-extasy - the same extasy as the Ishvara-Samadhi of Raja-Yoga. So the selfrealized kabbalist goes through the process of the 22 steps using the quabbalistic techniqs of the letters as described in the Sepher Jezirah (or in the modern quabbalalistic book of Franz Bardon).
The seeker builts in himself the kabbalistic "Tree" and becomes one with the SCHEM, the synthesis o the letters : ADAM KADMON.

So the 22 steps describe a process of transformation and evolution of the higher bodies into the unpersonal DIVINE. Some atheistic spiritual seekers beleive that there is no GOD at all. But the DIVINE is highest CONSCIOUSNESS and therefore a universal GOD and not just a highest blind force or energy which creates polarity and forms, much too high even for the masters of Paramatma !

The "magicians of the spheres" (-> Fr. Bardon) go twice through their 10 spheres . But these spheres are spheres in the mental plane und not the Sephiroth which are higher. The opposite of the Sephiroth are the Qlippoth, the "shells" which exist as the lower planes.

This universal process goes through several cycles of the seven rays(ELOHIM) or cycles of the higher four ELEMENTS (the four animals before the "throne"), and it does not depend upon a timely religious system.

These 22 evolutionary steps begin with an extension of consciousness of the small human ego - a change of identification "I am the I am" - and so man gradually opens for higher things.

EXODUS (Bible)

The process starts with the first experience of "Moses" of the "I AM the I AM". The 10 plagues symbolize the steps 3 to 12 of the UNIVERSAL PATH. On step 12 the Israelites survive because they have "painted their doors with blood". The Tarotcard 12 shows this door . Only the children of the Israelites survive.
On step 13 the isrealites cross the "red sea" of "transitoryness"(samasara).
The process has its first goal on step 14 when Moses "receives" the 10 "boards of the law" which can as well be found on egyptian drawings. So the "Manna" which is found every morning gets a different meaning . It becomes an uninterrupted "nectar" in the praised country Kanaan, step 18 and further" (of enlightenment), where milk and honey float, after the long path (step 15) through the desert to the mountain Horeb. (A mountain stands as a symbol for the aspiration to reach the Divine).
A hint to the "stone of wisdom"(later in this text) gives the "golden calf" after Moses has finished step 14 on the SINAI. It is comparable with the birth of Horus , the divine child, the spiritual rebirth. It should not be forgotten that "Aaron" means : "The enlightened one".
Moses "dies" on step 16 on the mountain Horeb(Rebis), and then a different force leads the process. Joshua leads the Isrealites until the fall of the masonary of the town of "Jericho" under the sound of the trumpets, of the Schem(A similar town "Babylon" falls in the chapter 18 of the revelation of John).
This knowledge was carefully kept secret by the initiated priests who learned in egypt (the same as in other cultures).
So the life of Moses before the "I am" in the desert can be explained as the 3 involutionary steps before the 22 steps.

Many other "stories" of the bible have similar secret meanings :

Similar is the meaning of Noah and the DELUGE. The crossing with the ark corresponds to step 13. Noah is only allowed to take one animal of each race on the ark. The appearance of the rainbow means the end of the triasl-path , and the beginning of the first spiritual initiation ( ie. the Phase of Venus , also known as "Eye of the peacock") He must leave behind his animal instincts except for the arables , who survive the flood.
An old legend says that only the Unicorn refused to go into the ark.

There is the well known story of Hiram who builds the temple of Solomon with the two pillars Jachim and Boaz so that the glory of Jehova can be in it (step 14). This story was the basis auf the former esoteric freemaisonary lodges (not the modern lodges which are a union of firms. Alchemists like Basilius Valentinus were members at their time).

GENESIS

On the 6. day (step 6 of the 22 steps ) Elohim creates man " as a man and a wife" . On step 9 follows the temptation , the "Sinfall" ( please look at the man with the snake and the snake-rod on the Tarot-card 9 ). Abel und Kain are born ( until step 12 ). On step 13 KAIN "murders" his brother ABEL , the energy of higher nature , and then he goes the path as a "stranger on earth" - with the sign on his forehead.

But the modern exoteric jewish religion waists the time discussing the laws of the Tora just as 2000 years ago.

ZEN

The human EGO eperiences its first IT - extension - which results in a sensitivity for higher things : In ZEN - sports the progressed archer acts in contemplative mood ( after a long training ) and finds the point in spite of a crooked arrow - IT becomes ONE with the object.
But it must be said that "Sartori" is still far away from the true enlightenment !

TAOISM

"Not to act is the acting" says the TAO TE KING, the holy book of TAOISM . "It" acts in the selfrealized Taoist : "Wu wei".

MAYA-CULTURE

The ruins of the Maya - cultures in south-america and their pyramids leave an exotic impression . But even here we find small rests of pictures of parts of the 22 steps : The original father creates two sons who become very strong ( on step 12 ) . After this the "original father" must go down to the underworld ( which is the kingdom of the JAGUAR - who remembers to the taoistic TIGER ) to pass several examinations ( of step 13 ). But because of the strength of his two sons he passes all examinations After all that he is reborn ( Step 14 : Rebirth ).
But it should not be forgotten that the Shamanism in south-america ( with the four animals and the all - force etc. ) is a teaching of the magic path . Some of such initiated priests cooperate with astral ghosts. Shamanism has many practices which rembember to practices of taoism working with CHI - but Taoism does not stop here.
Of course many initiated taoists may have practiced higher secret techniques than nowadays in shamanism.

GREECE TRADITION

The deeds of Herakles and the Travel to Troya (step 13 and 14) are themes of the ancient greece "religion" and philosophy. Plato teaches in his allegory of a cave" that people live like in a big cavern and think that the shadows are the reality and that they should be pushed to the sun outside the cavern.
Greece is often seen as the cradle of philosophy. But modern philosophy with its mentally outsets and speculations is often more a big maze with unproductive discussions, which do not solve strictly from the limited truths of the lower planes. The true spiritual truth is a truth of being and of consciousness.
The mysteries were kept secret and handed down to Italy. Emperor Augustus exiled the roman poet Ovid because he had spoken to open in his poems about these mysteries : "Amor" has in several poems the role of the "Amor" of the sixth tarotcard, ie. the lead-Arrow (phase of Saturnus) and after that the transformation into a laurel-bush at the strean in the Hades in the underworld"(End of step 13).

CHRISTIAN RELIGION

The christian fundamentals are the letters of the apostels, the four gospels and the 22 chapters of the apocalypse of John. These 22 visionary pictures of the "Apocalypse of John" are a visionary description of the spiritual process.
So the mountain "ZION" of picture 14 is the same mountain "SINAI" of step 14 of the EXODUS in the bible. The apocalytic vision of the whore Babel is exactly the step 17 of the Universal Path.
The path from " Betlehem to Golgata" is the path of four of the seven big initiations (U.T. 14-19).

The early christian religion had exercises of to "stay in the word", in the holy name (Luk 5,17 ; Timoth 3,17).
Therefore all modern christian churches are far away from their christians origins. The meaning of the true selfrealization of "Let the dead bury their deads (U.T. 6)" and the "Rebirth from water and spirit"(U.T. 14) is completely unknown and misunderstood in the modern churches.
As a consequence these churches are the gravestone of the grave of Christ.

NORTHEUROPEAN CULTS

In old north-european mystics the 18 RUNEs of the new "furthok" symbolized the first 18 steps of the 22 steps - even though mostly completely misunderstood and abused ! The old germanic Nibelungen - Saga describes 18 steps of the 22 steps. One important ancient european mystic place were the Externsteine .

There are other more familiar divisions than into 22 steps :

RAJA-YOGA

(or Ashtanga - Yoga) divides the process into 8 double - steps and so does not fill out all of the 22 steps ( only until step 16 ) - even though there are further samadhis until Nirbikalpa-Samadhi, the enlightenment with the Cosmic Consciousness , is reached.

BUDDHISM

Modern Buddhism knows those missing final steps of Raja-Yoga as : Bodhisattwa, Nirvana, Maha-Nirvana, Para-Nirvana and Parasamvit ( Adi-Buddha, step 22 ).
In buddhism step 10 of the 22 steps is the "spinner of the wheel of dhamma" - before that step man is a "sinner", he depends upon his karma.
Before he can "cross the sea of perishableness" (the ocean of samsara) on step 13 he must traditionally have the necessary power of "goodness or charitableness".
In tibetan mythology it is the "walk though the underwold" and the crossing of the "river without ground".
On step 15 the buddhist builts his diamond-vehicle, the diamond-body , the same as described in the christian "apocalypse of John" in chapter 15. At the end of step 17 man is "from the second other shore" - a bodhisattwa.

Enlightenment is not just an absolute intellectual "state of consciousness" or a mahamudra (great seal) - as many buddhists beleive - or a state of highest purity. Enlightenment is identical with "Nirbikalpa-Samadhi" of Raja-Yoga on step 19. Only Adi - Buddha (who resides on the sun - but of course buddhism exists on many planets) has the PERFECTION of consciousness (step 22).
Of course the techniques of the various scools can be very different : Meditation, contemplation, visualizations, special mantrams, Qi Gong and others. Please have a look at Buddhist Websites on this website.
Many buddhists may not be pleased of the comparison of other religions to buddhism. But this website is a comparison with the 22 steps ! Buddha learned the techniqs of many scools and taught his disciples to keep the best of all !
Buddhism as an universal cosmic religion is of course very much older than buddha Gautama , who passed several masters and learned their techniques - but he left them soon ("...they only want to use You...").
Modern buddhism can appear to be a disturbing mixture with teachings of new tibetan traditions and old traditions of the specific country (B�n, Tantra, Zen).
Often only the DHARMA is tought. Only few initiated buddhists know about the complete background of spiritual development in buddhism.
The future buddha Maitreya will clean buddhism and coordinate things (any real spiritual master could do that - but things are just handled strange and separatistic).

WHITE BROTHERSHIP

The 7 Initiations of White Brothership of A.A.Bailey (A.A. Bailey : INITIATION HUMAN AND SOLAR) first begin on step 14 of the 22 steps. These seven initiations were well known to the ancient rosicrucian movement.

ISLAM

Modern Islam appears to be a system of rules based on the Qu�ran and its interpretations. But even Islam had secret systems of Initiation.

HINDUISM (Sanatan Dharma)

There are 5 main traditional parts of the path to enlightenment

1. Beginner (worker, Schudra) Tarot 1-9

2. Trialpath (dealer) Tarot 10-14

3. The PATH (Warrior, Kschatriya) Tarot 15,16

4. Priest (Brahmin, true self-realized IMAM of Islam ) Tarot 17

5. Bodhisattwa, Enlightenment, then mastership etc.

In india this very old spiritual system of Shankara has become a solidified social system of privileges and without inner substance.

In hinduism this development has been symbolized as the 10(24) avatars. Krishna und Rama were just helpers on preliminary steps of human evolution. Avatara Buddha Gautama reached his goal individually. He taught people to think and examine instead just to beleive.
The Kalki-Avatar is expected to bring the divine down to earth in the future .
Of course there have been many masters in all times - but their souls did not come out of mankind. Today india has lost most of its spirituality.

Alchemy (Opus Magnum)

Finally ( as an automatic filter of the true seekers....) an old and hot theme : The transmutation of man , the spiritual alchemy (not the transmutation of lead into gold), which goes exactly through the steps of the Universal Path :

9. Materia Prima 10. Calcination 11. Sublimation

12. Solution 13. Putrefaction 14. Destillation 15. Coagulation

16. Tinctura 17. Multiplication 18. Projection

The 3 fundamental principles "SAL, Sulphur and Mercurius" can be compared with the three hinduist "Gunas" (Tamas, Rajas, Sattwa) and with the three "Doshas" of Ayurveda ( Vata, Pitta and Kapha ), which describe the qualities of Maya and therefore finally of our material world. The origin of this knowledge was in the asian countries.
The knowledge of the initiates about true Alchemy and Spagyrics was much deeper than modern Ayurveda : "Opus Magnum" - the big work that makes You perfect.

But the various old books of these traditions have been written so deeply and so symbolic that they are misunderstandable and deliberate misleading.

ROSICRUCIAN TRADITION

The rosicrucian movement of the middle ages was known to be haunted by the church and the governments just like the french Katharer-movement. The "Ich bin" - Meditation of the german Rosicrucians of the middle-ages is widely known.
Their book "Fama Fraternitatis", which is a secret symbolic description of the steps 1 to 18: On step 6 C.R. meets his teacher "P.A.L.". On step 10 C.R.C awakens and begins to "spin the wheel" until he reaches the first initiation. The Fama ends with the vision of the FATHER C.R.C., the Paramatma, - the enlightenment.
Other books of Valentin Andrea are the seven days or initiations of "The Chymical Wedding" and the "Confessio Fraternitatis".
R. Steiner classified these books as the western path of initiation.

So it becomes clear that behind all evolution stands a process of transmutation and not just another enlightened or a highest philospophical view of things.

COSMIC INITIATIONS

The divine master who has finished step 22 (or the seventh initiation) passes the gate and completes the two final cycles and reaches the first cosmic initiation in the highest Divine, the SAT. On our planet such cosmic initiations are not possible because we live on a negative planet without such divine initiators.
Miss Bailey says that the KUMARA startet his second cosmic initiation at the beginning of this century in the PLEYADS. The logos of our sun is on the third cosmic initiation, and the ONE from Sirius is on the fourth cosmic initiation. The final goal of human initiations will be the third cosmic initiation.
Of course there are millions of divine masters on cosmic initiations in this UNIVERSE and in the other universes, where the goal is the seventh cosmic initiation.
It is not known who the final "Universal GOD" in the SAT is, because he must be higher than all cosmic initiations and include all universes.

Can we have success on the path ?

"The karma and that ishvara (god) does not want it are the hindrances on the path", Bhagavad- Gita

You will only understand this all if You study the BOOKS deeply and practice this path of spiritual selfrealization. If You have the problems of a beginner then it maybe advisable to study the Raja-Yoga at first. The Tarot-Book of E. Haich (Wisdom of the Tarot) is the introducing reference for true initiation.
You will have to find a synthesis of the teachings of the past. At first it may be difficult to understand the symbolism, but Your intuition will grow with the studium.

This website coordinates the teachings of the past It does not deleiver a Synthesis (the 22 steps of the Universal Path are a kind of Synthesis of all methods) which stands above the old methods. This synthesis is not really necessary because the techniques of Transformation and the techniques of very high spiritual Transfiguration already exist. Sri Aurobindo has touched the problem of Synthesis in his book "The Synthesis of Yoga ", but the real spiritual process first begins on step 15.
The majority of mankind stands on involutionary steps and must therefore first go through a transforming process to become a "spinner of the wheel"(U.L. 10). In our time a perfectly spiritual path is only possible in a quiet and clean surrounding. The student in practical life needs techniques which transform the disharmonic energies of modern life.

Some people may further argue that all this is not for our time, but if You like modern MULTIMEDIA and modern mentality then spirituality is not for You (because You will have to live a completely different lifestyle).
Our time is not really modern but mostly only very technical and "logical" and bound to that what is scientiffically capable.

The Universal Path has not been published systematically before like this. I have already disclosed much too much. Spirituality is not a kind of philosophy (which is for the human mind and is mostly a waist of time), and it has always been written down in symbols to hide it from those people who fight against all spiritual things. You will need intuition, aspiration and surrender to your inner divine self. The mysteries should be a possession of mankind - but the real step into "Mankind" is the first step of the 22 steps.

Do not let it become a religion, said the MOTHER(Aurobindo). The religions failed .... because they were separated. People were told to be religious under exclusion of other religions, and each branch of the knowledge failed because it was exclusive. The new consciousness wants (and it insists on that) : no further separations : One must be able to understand the spiritual extrem, the material extrem, and to find the meeting-point, the point where all this becomes a truthful force.

"A learned man takes the essence of knowledge from all places, just as a bumblebee
collects honey from each and every flower." (Srimad Bhagavatam 4.18.2)
After the vedic period master Sri Adi Shankara introduced the S A N A T A N - D H A R M A and the four steps of life. The modern Shankara-Order says too that all Yogapathes go through the steps of the Ashtanga-Yoga(Raja-Yoga) and therefore through the steps of the Universal Path.

"Ashtanga Yoga--Yama, niyam, aasan, praanayaam, pratyaahaar, dhaarnaa, dhyaan, samaadhi, theses are the eight limbs of yoga. A Guru takes a disciple into these one by one. In return, the Guru does not accept anything from his disciple. He does it out of kindness and out of a feeling for doing good to his disciple."

Further Literature : "Sri Yuktesvar Giri : The Holy Science"
This unvaluable small book has been written in coordination Guru Babaji - who also is guru of Sri Yuktesvar Giri and of Yogananda. Sri Yuktesvar Giri tells us that the complete knowledge of India is hidden in the MAHABHARATA - Epos, which consists of several books :

The hinduistic Epos Mahabharata is one of the biggest and most important creations of world literature. It exists in several editions . Some editions contain up to 100.000 verses , into which several smaller episodes have been added besides the actual action.
One of these is the story of Savitri and Satyavan. An excerpt :"Savitri was firmly decided to stay with her husband, and she followed Yama into his regions, which normally no mortal one can entered. Finally she succeeded to entangle the death God into a discussion.
Yama was impressed by the imperturbable tenacity, with which Savitri fought for the life of her husband, and gave finally Satyavans to soul again free for a further life on earth.
(The latter chapter is a description of the stage 13 of the 22 stages:Mystical death)
But the shorter versions of the Mahabharata represent the 22 stages too:

The PANDAVAS and the Kauravas grow up together until step 6 of the 22 steps. The well known " battle of Kurukshetra" is one theme of the Bhagavad-Gita and a part of the Mahabharata. Kurukshetra is step 18 of the 22 Steps. The Mahabharata ends with step 20 : Master (true cosmic Mahatma).
There are several online-versions of the Mahabharata in the Internet .

Another example is the well known description of the gods and demons which are fighting for the milk-sea : This is just another secret description of step 13 of the 22 steps.

How far hinduism has degenerated can be seen from the millions of pilgrims who travel to the GANGES to bath there and wash away their sins(and get bacteries instead). In reality this "river" is the SHABDA or NADA as Sri Yuktesvar describes in his small book.
Similar is the beleive of ISLAM that those who die in a worldly "holy war" will go into paradise. The "holy war" would be the long PATH of step 15 of the 22 steps.

Several modern indish Gurus said that we live in the period of "Shiva", and therefore the destruction of many traditional values is normal. Some of them teach the Japa or Meditation on the traditinal "OM NAMAHA SHIVAYA" which is so much praised in the Shiva - Puranas.

With the start of the path of the 22 steps to the first cosmic initiation it is necessary to leave the three involutionary kingdoms of nature and the lower self behind - and of course the small EGO :

The unintelligent masses let themselves lead and inspire from their materialistic, psychic and momentary wishes and desires. Most of them are determined and governed by their wishes for posession and luxury, by the longing for "tangible" things, for comfort and economic, social and religious security.
Man here stands under the influence of the densest (material) form of MAYA.

Others let themselves mainly lend by their longing for emotional feeling of well- being and mental stability and the safty that their higher wishes will be fulfilled.
All that is MAYA in its emotional (astral) aspects.

Mental MAYA means illusions of many sorts.

After the 3 basic involutionary steps the divisions become so numerous that it is difficult to distinguish them :
In this mixed society we find pure egoism, - often up to the highest potency - , a growing understanding for the community, the growing recognition that other people have the same right for hapyness and harmonie und the constant strive to adapt the personal character and "way of life" so far THAT THE purely selfish interests do not harm other people.

So we come to the REALLY GOOD avarage-man who endeavours to adapt to his vicinity and his goup-connections and his obligations so far that a touch of real love can be seen.
It is here not thought of the kind of love to family, children and relatives that is directed from the instincts. Man has this kind of love common with the animal-kingdom - which often breaks when these next people insist on their rights. The connection is not strong enough and the motives are too selfish to resist to the temptation. Here is more thought of that kind of love that accepts the rights of the others and tries consciously to adapt to these accepted rights but insists tough on den rights of the own personality.

After all this the path of the ASPIRANT begins (from Tarot 7 to 14):
All that is not a purely personal psychic process in society but an inner process of transmutation that finally leads to the transfiguration by the forces of the higher spiritual soul und further things. Aspiration alone is not sufficient : The spiritual forces must come down and transform the person . That is the deeper sense of the many techniques. The "karma" must be sufficient( in indish terminology : "prakriti" must agree ) - and "god" must agree to the entering into his kingdom.

At his time PANTANJALI tried to bring a system into the Yoga in his Yoga-Aphorisms. But he was only little understood - mainly because he has no special training - system with specific exercises.

The eight steps of RAJA - YOGA are equivalent to step 1- 16 of the UNIVERSAL Path.

1. YAMA [ Tarot 1,2 ] - Satya, Ahimsa, Brahmacharya, Aparigraha und Asteya

2. NIYAMA [ Tarot 3,4 ] - Saucha, Santosha, Tapas, Swadhyaya und Ishwara Pranidhana

So RAJA-Yoga has a kind of moral as its basis - and the study of the holy scriptures !

3. ASANA : Body-exercises like in Hatha-Yoga, the beginnings of Tai Chi Chuan or the first steps of KungFu-Training [ Tarot 5,6 ]

4. PRANAYAMA - Purification of the life-force (Prana, Chi) [ Tarot 7,8 ]

5. PRATYAHARA - Drawing back of the senses [ Tarot 9,10 ]

6. DHARANA - Concentration [ Tarot 11,12 ]

7. DHYANA - Meditation [ Tarot 13,14 ]

8. ISHVARA - SAMADHI (God - Extasy) [ Tarot 15,16 ]

There are two further SAMADHIS, the Sabikalpa Samadhi and the Nirbikalpa-Samadhi - the ENLIGHTENMENT with the COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS.

Pantanjali warns that the SIDDHIS (occult forces) that very progressed disciples can have are a hinderance that binds to the lower forces and planes.

This site is dedicated to ADI-BUDDHA and to buddha MAITREYA who is expected to appear at the time of the last Shamballah-war. His statue stands in the temple in Lhasa where he is expected as the next coming buddha.

A.A. Bailey says that SHAMBHALA is the seat of the hierarchy of the White Brothership high above the GOBI-desert in the spiritual atmic plane, but many Lamas think that it exists in our material world , eventually hidden with magic means.

Some prophecys say that before the war will be a time of moral degradation being followed (in my opinion after 2015) by several years when religion will be an instrument of power in the hand of corrupt politicians(who are already there...).

After the war will be a time of false but social values which will be followed by thousands of years of world-peace.

An old tibetan prophecy says about HIM : "A treasure will return from the west ..."

Ann. 1: The "Maitreya" of Benjamin Creme is of course not the avatar, but he tries to imitate HIM. Mr. Creme mostly repeats the books of A.A.Bailey and presents examples of his phantasy.

Ann. 3: Years ago even Tai Situ Rinpoche of the tibetan Kagyu - Tsurpu - Foundation said that he is an incarnation of Maitreya - or of the power of Maitreya ( because of his interpretation of the prophecies that Maitreya will not be a teacher who has disciples ), after the disturbences of the followers of the 16.Karmapa that he caused....(but there is dispute about the truth of his words). The tibetan direction of Karmapa teaches to be the followers of Gautama - but that is not quite true !

These things are some of the many problems of modern buddhism.

You should not beleive in teachings just because they are being
proclaimed; neither should You beleive in old traditions just
because of their venerable age ; neither in rumours that are just
rumours ; neither in scriptures only because they have been written
by wise men ; neither in imaginations that we think have been given
to us from angels ( through mental inspiration ) ; neither should
You beleive in the conclusions from arbitrary assumptions or into
that which seems to be a logical and causal context ; neither just
into the authority of our teachers and masters :

But we must beleive if the scriptures, the teachings or the
proclaimed is confirmed by our realizing reason.
Therefore i tought You not to beleive only because You have heared of
something but to beleive realizing and then act in responsibility.

A shortened introduction into Taoism

In a very real sense one can consider Tai Chi Chuan to be seen as a physical expression of the principles and philosophy of Taoism.

To go the " Middle path " means to stand higher then the positive and the negative - in a synthesis. Then IT acts. IT does not feel unity but IT IS in unity. This is mainly a problem of self-realization (--> step 10 of the 22 steps).

In TAOISM exist several equivalences (though not completely identical) to hinduism :

TAO : higher than all tones ---> higher Brahman

Jang and Jing : On the same planes as CHIT and ANANDA, the plane of divine poles,
with their variations on all lower planes.

CHI : A vibration of Pranava or lower Shabda (an aspekt of Prakriti)

SHEN : Atman, the spirit

The CHI of chinese medicin is the transformation of CHI between the astral and the material plane. This Chi can be both, positive and negative ! It is identical to PRANA of indish yoga.
The meaning of the five elements is a bit different from those in other cultures as well as the chinese meaning of the dragon.
The development is from the green dragon (natural prana) to the golden dragon (pranava). (See Mantak Chia : Taoist inner Alchemy series : Fusion of the five elements)

The goal of later Taoism is the Tathagata or Julai, an enlightenment like a "buddha". In contrary a "black master" is a CHI-RU in Taoism.

Modern BOOKS of authors like Mantak Chia, Stephan Palos, Zji-Chang Li, Richard Wilhelm(Secret of the golden flower ) and Lu Kuan Y�(Taoist Yoga) can give a deep introduction into Taoism.
Old traditional books are the "Lung Yen Ging" or the "Sing Ming Schuang Siu Hui Dscheng Dschi" or the "Tai I Gin Hua Dsung Dschi (The secret of the golden flower)".

In Taoism there is the "small circle" of energy (Step 10 of the 22 steps) and the "big circle" of Energy (Step 12 of the 22 steps) in Qi Gong.

Some directions in Taoism practise a kind of alchemy which came to europe in the middle ages. It is the OPUS MAGNUM that makes You perfect : " For 10 monthes the embryo (the Filius philosophorum) stands under fire. After 1 year the washing and the bathes become warm", says the Lung Yen Ging.
The "Golden Elixier " is step 16 of the UNIVERSAL PATH. ( see : Mantak Chia, Fusion of the five elements, from Taoist Inner Alchemy series)

But You should first understand what is behind all, otherwise You may falsely think that You are very far progressed. There are many traditional techniques of cycles of energies. Old books can be found on the website of the british museum or the museum of vienna in austria (or on the bookseeker of my website !).

There are and were spiritual scools which saw the four gospels as symbolic stories of the path to enlightenment (as to read about in Rudolf Steiner : "Christianity as a mystical fact" or in the " Apocalypse of St.John")
Each gospel is a bit different because it symbolizes the process of spiritual development under the aspect of one of the four spiritual elements, which appear in the new testament as the four animals around the throne.

The begining of the initiations is the appearance of the "angel" who prophesizes the birth of the "divine child"(Horus,Filius Philosophorum). This vision describes the end of step 14 . It is the same virgin who calls Christian Rosenkreutz at the beginning of the "Chymical wedding". It is the phase of venus and the rainbow after the big flood, after the "rebirth from water". Later, at the end of step 15, follows the temptation by the "devil", who is shown on the Tarotcard 15.

It has been claimed that the catholic church has manipulated certain parts of the "New Testament" which hindered the christian movement to spread, like "rebirth" or "vegetarism" or "sexual restrictions", sentences like "Do not go to the gentiles" and "who is my brother and my sister..." or "who is my next".
The death of Christ is claimed has been altered from "My god, my god, how have You glorified me", to : "Eli, Eli, how have You left me".
(The name "Julai" of the enlightened Taoist is similar to "Eli" ! J. Lorber said the the christian path was the meditation on the name "Jeshua-Ra".)

But that is not true : After the phase of "Mercurius" at the beginning of step 20 ("My god how have You glorified me") follows the dark phase or cycle of "Saturnus" ("My god how have You left me") - which is the second mystic death.
So St.Lukas writes "Father, into Your hands i lay my spirit", and "from the sixt hour lay darkness above the country"(Saturnus), being followed by the resurrection from the grave(Jupiter), and then reaching the goal of true mastership(Luna,Venus: cosmic Mahatma, step 20).

The appearance of the whore "Mary Magdalena" under the cross has a specific secret meaning. The etheric body, the higher causal personality, dies and is transformed. From now on the master stands in the consciousness of the Universal Light.

Ein weiteres Beispiel aus dem "Johannes-Evangelium Kapitel 13" : Das letzte Abendmahl
Das letzte Abendmahl beschreibt den ersten Zyklus der Stufe 18 der U.L.. Jesus liegt mit Judas und Petrus zu Tische. Jesus als spirituelles Selbst gruppiert die 12 Wirkungskr�fte um sich, da er voll entwickelt ist. Jesus gibt Judas den Bissen Brot und schickt ihn in die Nacht mit "Was du tust, tue es schnell", d.h. es beginnt der zweite von f�nf Zyklen und Jesus wird gefangengenommen.
In der dritten Phase k�nnen die Hohepriester keine Schuld an Jesus finden. (Ein �hnliches "Wiegen" findet sich auch in der rosenkreuzerischen "Chymischen Hochzeit" des "dritten Tages".) Auch Pilatus kann an Jesus keine Schuld finden(da dieser voll im "Wort" steht; Ende der Phase4).
Das Lunare Prinzip erreicht auf der Stufe 18 seinen letzten Entwicklungsh�hepunkt(Tarotkarte 18, Silberm�nzen des Judas). Zu Beginn der Stufe 19 wird Jesus ein purpurroter Mantel angelegt und als K�nig der Juden, dessen Reich nicht von dieser Welt ist, wird er zum (mystischen) Tode am Kreuz verurteilt(Phase 1).
Auf der ersten Phase der Stufe 20 steht der Berg Golgatha wieder als Symbol f�r das Emporstreben in das G�ttliche, welches den Geistessch�ler nun "verherrlicht", und in der zweiten Phase 2stirbt"er und "f�hrt zur H�lle hinab" und wiederaufersteht mit der dritten Phase.

Therefore the resurrection has the meaning of step 20 .

The system of initiations was known to parts of the early christians too, even if they had a very narrow sight of things in the light of the person of Jesus Christ. In "1 John 2,12" we read :
12 I write to you, dear children, because your sins have been forgiven on account of his name.
13 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning (3rd initiation). I write to you, young men, because you have overcome the evil one(2nd initiation). I write to you, dear children, because you have known the Father(1st initiation).
14 I write to you, fathers, because you have known him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one(UL 15).

The "Secret teachings" of Helena P. Blavatsky is still today a well known collection of asiatic teachings and wisdoms.
Franz Bardon defines the Karma-Yoga as "to do good deeds over their sake".

Sri Krishna defines this in the Bhagavad-Gita : "Good deeds done at the wrong place or time are no good deeds":
TEXT 20 "That gift which is given out of duty, at the proper time and place, to a worthy person, and without expectation of return, is considered to be charity in the mode of goodness."
TEXT 22 "And charity performed at an improper place and time and given to unworthy persons without respect and with contempt is charity in the mode of ignorance."
TEXT 23 : " But charity performed with the expectation of some return, or with a desire for fruitive results, or in a grudging mood, is said to be charity in the mode of passion."

So You will need true wisdom in Your decisions.
