ATMAN - the light and the spiritual soul (in preparation)

"The Atman is the light of the Divine"(Sri Aurobindo)

  • Tattwa Bodha : The elements of creation
  • The first energy of creation beyond the divine Sat-Chit-Ananda is "Brahm", which is called the "Holy spirit" in the christian bible. Out of Brahm the energies of the atmic plane are created.

In Kashmir-Shivaism the atmic plane is formed by the six KANCHUKAS :
Kalaa, Vidya, Raga, Kaala, Niyati and Purusha. Above them is Paramatma-Purusha.

In hinduism this creation is described as the game of creation, the LILA , the interaction of Purusha and Prakriti.

The buddhic planes then came into existence with time (Kala) in BINDU.
This part of creation is under the control of BRAHMA (3.rd ray) - from this fact comes the expression "NADA-Brahman".

Atman together with the Purusha is known as the "higher spiritual self" - a reflection of the higher trancendent divine self which is not touched by its revealed creations.
The first divine imperfection, the polarity of the second "ray", was the factor behind the revealed creation. Therefore introspection watches the polarity of the seven main rays that are active in the lower planes too (seven rays or similar the four spiritual elements: First ray is in unity, the second ray is in polarity, the third ray creates the form -> Shiva-Vishnu-Brahma).

The Atman are those forces which create illusionary forms in the Maya(Atma-Puja).

The material of the buddhic plane is MAYA which is tamed by the Kalaa-Kanchuka from the atmic plane and so vibrates under the influence of time. Therefore the positive forces are still dominating on the buddhic plane.

On the mental plane the influence of the "kanchukas"(Brahm) causes another polarity - a balance between budhi and manas, the negative pole. Here the influence of the SELF has caused a reverse creation, an individual shell, which is the basis of the evil forces (hinduistic Asuras, Qlippoth of Kabbalah) in this plane.
So there is only an indirect influence of the higher self in the lower planes.
Of course the divine self is silently behind all things but it has no influence on the lower planes as long as it acts as an unpersonal force.

In this plane we find the many buddha-lands which are upholded by the various buddhas.
